Dolly Won't Play

"𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀."

'Dolly Won't Play' by Monisha Gumber raise voice about very sincere topic 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘦.

The book is written in free style in form of verses which is parted in four different chapters. As the title simplify, the story is about Dolly.

Dolly, who was very little when her parents got separated. The urge to be loved and the longing to get attention was so high in the fragile mind that she didn't even know when she became victim of child abuse. But then again how would a child know the difference between right and wrong?

As the story unfolds it shows how deed of cruality leaves mark for lifetime on a child's heart and mind. Even though the fragile mind do not know about the difference between right or wrong, even though it counts pain into pleasure how it can damage their inner abilities.

Simply the story is focused on every element relates to child abuse and the damage it can cause from the beginning to end. It also shows how the society become blind eyed toward such an important topic that is extremely important to look apon instead of avoiding. It will change our perspective to look over every child.

A definite recommendation.
