I've Never Been Good At..

I've Never Been Any Good
At Leaving Things Where They Lie.
I Pick Them Up
A Thousand Times,
Even After They've Crumbled,
Even After They're Ash.
I Try To Fix Them.
I Get Out My Glue
And I Get Out My Tape
And I Try To Remember
What They Looked Like
Before They Shattered.
I Don't Think I Do Them Justice.
I Add Too Much Shine,
Too Much Glitter.
Too Few Dents.
( We Had So Many Dents)
I've Just Never Be Any Good
At Leaving Things Where They Lie.
( I Lied When I Said Good Bye)
